As far as miracle grow, it shouldn't be a problem. Don't use it full strength on small terrarium plants... I'd dilute it by about half. And make sure there aren't any standing drops or puddles of it for your geckos to drink. But as long as it goes straight into the soil and it's diluted like that, it should be just fine. Of course, if you can use some sort of organic fertilizer (they're easy to find) instead of a chemical one, that would be even better.

I like vinegar...I rinse the tank out with water, then hit it with a dose of vinegar, which has the added benefit of getting rid of hard-water spots, then a final rinse out with water. It's cheap, readily available, and I figure even if I totally skipped the final rinse, vinegar shouldn't be toxic to animals....
