I bred them for a few years, interesting little critters, very tough. I kept them dry with a light misting in the evening. A tall cage with a 10w halogen for a basking site worked fine. daytime temperature was probably 78-84, a bit warmer directly under the light. Cooler nights didn't bother them. They laid clutches of 2 eggs starting in November/December. About 4-5 clutches seemed normal. Eggs are buried and hard shelled.
There is some aggession during the breeding season, patches of missing skin and lost tail tips were no unusual. A "harem" arrangement works well.
Hope this helps, Neil
P.S. They bite!
Anyone have any experience with these they'd like to share? I somehow "inherited" a few and am not finding much on the web....thanks.
