Do your geckos prefer Ivory liquid, Palmolive, or an antibacterial liquid?  
(Seriously.)  Then do you find yourself rinsing the gecko after "collecting" 
the mites with a dry q-tip?

Actually, Lyle, I used a wet q-tip moistened with bar soap when overnight at a 
show near Portland and my newly purchased flyer seemed to have mites everywhere 
(~28).  That did the trick.  You ought to see him today!  His tail is 
exquisite!!!

(Seems like you guys are in the midst of a deep freeze.)  Am awaiting a weather 
opening for posting to your neck of the woods  ;-}
