Hi

I have a clutch of rhacodactylus auriculatus (gargoyle gecko) eggs that have been incubating for 57 days at a temperature of 80oF.  Yesterday both eggs collapsed but there are no signs of pipping.  What should I do? - is it too late or could they still hatch?

Last season I had a similar situation and both eggs turned out to be fully formed babies but had died in the egg.  I blamed a sudden increase in temperature for that loss (temps increased from 80oF to 88oF).  This year the temperature hasn't changed.  What am I doing wrong?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Jackie
