well, i am by no means experienced with hatching out auriculatus, but ive heard many times of the same thing happening with ciliatus. many people say they want to have their babies hatch out ASAP and try to do so by elevating the incubation temperatures. time and time again i see this happening with those people. its by no means a sure solution, but i would recommend incubating your eggs at room temperature, or whatever temperature it is that the adults find optimal. sooner or later they'll hatch, so don't push the due date, or else you're risking effects such as this. also, be sure not to over-water your incubation medium, i've heard many times of embryos dying within the egg because they were "drowned".
perhaps someone experienced with the gargoyles can chime in... mike martin _______________________________________________ Global Gecko Association http://www.gekkota.com Classifieds http://www.gekkota.com/cgi-gekkota/classifieds.cgi gecko mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gekkota.com/mailman/listinfo/gecko
