Thank you for your reply - it is most appreciated.  I have successfully hatched out ciliatus eggs using the same method (placed in an incubator) - in fact I have some incubating now.  I have tried incubating at room temperature but the eggs go mouldy - I blame to climate over here in the UK.  I agree with what you are saying about people forcing incubation to get faster results.  I do not want to do this - all I want is to successfully hatch out a baby using the method that will work for me over here.  I used the temperature as recommended in both deVosjoli et al and Henkel and Seipp Rhac books (between 78oF - 82oF).
