Yep. Then make an ethernet version that is otherwise identical. Then make an IEEE588 precision time ethernet version of all of them with the settable data, and the calbratable A2D read back data. Then you have lab grade, fancy lab grade, and distributed process control too... All open hardware. I'm going to be involved in that evolution. Industrial engineers, chemical engineers, and electric distribution engineers don't do much nitty gritty hardware design... those markets are wide open for the low priced approach now that China, Pacific Rim Mfrs are going full steam, and USA is low growth, going "green" less and less petrochem plants, maybe even less grid power distribution... The gold plated $10K process modules a la Fisher Controls are going into dinosaur mode I predict.
