Hey Bert, I am sorry, but I was not aware that you already started a project for a footprint "generator". ;) I think your tool is a very good start and I agree with you that an "editor" is not needed at the moment.
Do you have access to a copy of the IPC-7351 specifications? Otherwise I am willing to spend the $100 on it if I'm accepted for GSoC.
