I think it would be sufficient just to have a comment on each net, say "10 Amps", or "300Volt", so the layouter knew what to do with that net. By the way... I think it would be nice if a *.pcb file only contained references to footprints (a la gschem), not the copy of them like as it is now. Is it hard to implement?
