About benchmarking your (second, latest) OpenGL patch of June, 16th: On my pcb-20070208 version: 5.7 ... 5.8 redraws per second On your latest OpenGL patch: 0.9 ... 1.0 redraws per second On the latest cvs version (20080616): 5.7 ... 6.1 redraws per second Note that I'm running on ancient HW: P3, 500 MHz, 320 MB RAM and even less video RAM, so please take the relative differences into account.
