Goodness, look what I started... (again) :-)

Just to set the record straight here (before the torches and pitchforks
come out), I'm not going to be removing any part of the flexibly of the
existing gEDA/gaf system/approach. Or even drastically changing any
existing mechanisms.

What I am going to do is somehow deprecate the existing mostly heavy
symbol library and replace it with an ultra-light symbol library.
Not quite sure how I'm going to do the deprecation without completely
breaking existing designs, but I'll do something sane.

Part of this effort is a new mechanism to take a schematic which includes
the ultra light symbols and add enough information to make the schematic
netlistable by gnetlist. Nothing more, nothing less. All other fancy
automatic this or that features will have to wait until I get this basic
mechanism done. I'm not going to comment more beyond this until I have
a working prototype to validate my approach.

Now if anybody wants to keep using heavy symbols, great! There will
be no issues doing so, however, the default will be to use this new
ultra-light symbol library.

                                                                -Ales
