I'm pretty sure I was using gtk+2.4.12 when I started the gpcb port.
I've upgraded a few times in the meantime and now am using gtk+2.6.8.

That Berry Fedora live CD I tried looks to be using 2.6.7, so it certainly
is an upgraded Fedora.

I guess what you've found out is good news/bad news.  Good that you're
getting the problem solved, and bad that some gtk version newer
than 2.4.0 should be used.
