Mouser now stocks FTDI parts (eg FT232RL in SSOP-28 which is nearly all-in- one serial). The "friendly" package is SSOP28. The lands on SSOP28.fp seem a little small (not as long as you'd like for easy soldering?). Has anyone used that footprint? Are there any other SSOP28 out there?
