La Habana, 12 mar (ACN) El Interferón alfa 2B humano recombinante, desarrollado
en 1986 por un equipo de investigadores del Centro de Ingeniería Genética y
Biotecnología (CIGB), benefició a miles de pacientes cubanos desde su
introducción hace más de tres décadas en el sistema nacional de salud, y se
encuentra entre los medicamentos empleados actualmente para combatir al nuevo
coronavirus COVID-19.
El doctor Eulogio Pimentel Vázquez, director general de la entidad
perteneciente al Grupo Empresarial BioCubaFarma, expresó a Granma que en el
transcurso de seis lustros el producto mostró su eficacia y seguridad en la
terapia de enfermedades virales, como las Hepatitis B y C, el Herpes zóster
(popularmente llamado culebrilla), VIH-Sida y Dengue.
Tiene la propiedad de interferir la multiplicación viral dentro de las células
y también ha sido utilizado en el tratamiento de distintos tipos de carcinomas.
La elección de las autoridades médicas chinas para utilizarlo contra el
coronavirus, aseveró el doctor Pimentel Vázquez, obedece a que de manera
general este virus disminuye la producción natural de interferón en el
organismo humano y el fármaco cubano es capaz de suplir dicha deficiencia,
fortaleciendo el sistema inmunológico de los pacientes aquejados por la
contagiosa dolencia respiratoria que el ocasiona.
A partir de una transferencia tecnológica hecha por el CIGB al país asiático,
en 2003 fue creada la empresa mixta chino cubana ChangHeber, con sede en la
ciudad de Changchun. Diez años después se inauguró allí una moderna planta, que
en la actualidad fabrica productos biotecnológicos creados en la mayor de las
Antillas, incluyendo el Interferón alfa 2b recombinante.
Resulta oportuno mencionar que el medicamento recibió en 2012 el Premio
Nacional de Innovación Tecnológica, conferido por el Ministerio de Ciencia,
Tecnología y Medio Ambiente (Citma) y el Premio Nacional de Salud en 2013.
Como información adicional de interés vale destacar que en 2019 la institución
terminó la fase de inclusión de pacientes en ensayos clínicos fase ii con el
candidato cigb-500, fármaco en desarrollo que muestra indicios
cardioprotectores, y del candidato cigb-845, dirigido a la terapia de
enfermedades cerebrovasculares.
Resalta, por su novedad, el inicio de un proyecto investigativo dedicado a la
búsqueda de un candidato vacunal contra el Zika, así como la continuidad de los
emprendidos con ese mismo objetivo para el dengue y el cáncer de próstata.

Memang seluruh dunia berlomba riset covid 19 ini dalam skala yg luar biasa baik
uang maupun waktu.
Semua ini dibawah WHO. Researchers nya gak bisa kerja sendiri krn data2

Mustahil bisa langsung dapet vaksin utk suatu virus pada 1, 2, 3 atau bbrp

Este artículo fue una respuesta a Trump, pero podría ser utilizado por
cualquier investigador brasileño para responder a la presidencia de la
república y a todos los brasileños que aprueben (sin conocer las posibles
consecuencias) el estado mínimo.

satisfactorily, with all resources needed to ensure their full recovery
available; while efforts to prevent the spread of the pandemic within the
country continue.
Dr. Carmelo Trujillo Machado, head of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap)
Department of International Health Control, reported this information Sunday in
a press conference, and emphasized that the implementation of all measures
established for the prevention and confrontation of the new coronavirus
continue, in close collaboration with all central state administration agencies
and ministries.
He reiterated the importance of expanding preventative and educational efforts
for the entire population, as well as preparing all sectors of society to
implement preventative measures.
Dr. Trujillo reported that border surveillance has been “increased and
strengthened” at all ports of entry, with teams of health professionals
carefully following protocols, while active monitoring continues at the primary
care level and in hotels, to ensure the timely identification of possible cases
and take appropriate action.
Family doctors and nurses are conducting active searches in communities to
identify and monitor all individuals with respiratory symptoms, he stated,
while insisting on the essential participation of the population, since anyone
with such symptoms must seek medical attention immediately.
Dr. María Elena Soto Entenza, head of the Ministry’s Primary Health Care
Department noted that specific areas have been designated in community
polyclinics to care for patients with respiratory symptoms, as well as
committees of several specialists to conduct clinical and epidemiological
evaluations and determine the course to be followed.
"Not everyone who arrives with respiratory symptoms is hospitalized, but it is
important that they are evaluated," she emphasized.
