I think the concern is of having a collection of similar, but slightly different testers. Something that focuses on doing say coherence protocol testing is different, but it seems odd to have more than one traffic generator that generates random traffic is not a good choice. Can you add your functionality to the existing one or add the existing one's functionality to yours and just delete it?
