Hi Everyone, I have a few patches that affect the way we handle frame buffers (i.e., pretty much anything that generates graphics) that are ready to go. I'd like to push them on Friday unless there outstanding issues. I'm going to assume that they are OK to go out unless I have heard otherwise by noon (UTC) on Friday.
The patches are: base: Clean up bitmap generation code [RB2755, 1] base: Redesign internal frame buffer handling [RB2756, 2] arm: Workaround incorrect HDLCD register order in kernel [RB2757, 3] The second patch is fairly intrusive and affects the VNC server as well as bitmap generation. It will break existing code that relies on the old VideoConverter class or the VNC server. All device models in mainline gem5 have been updated to use the new interfaces. Reviews are highly appreciated. Please let me know if you need more time before I push anything.
