Unfortunately the issue I was having with my patches is not solved by patch 
http://reviews.gem5.org/r/2998. However, I have posted some comments on 
reviewboard for some patches which have not been addressed before pushing them 
as commits. That could have been considered as feedback. With regards to 
http://reviews.gem5.org/r/2999/ can wakeup be replaced with activateContext?

Any updates on this?  We're about ready to publish another patch that
enables SMT on the Minor CPU model that depends upon these, and would like
to get the previous patches submitted  At this point they have been
relatively well-tested.  These patches successfully boot linux, run server
applications such as memcached, etc.
