That is expected as the gem5 ACPI stub pretends to support ACPI but simply does not in any way. I always assumed it was a “get around things mandating ACPI but happy to learn otherwise if they just find ACPI somehow exists”.


I am not sure what all your other (linux) crashes are; last time I tried FS mode with FreeBSD (with patches) I found TLB and other issues; I still think nothing ever made it upstream (or the discussion was too tedious) but I am happy to dig things up again in case someone will find it valuable.
