Hi everyone! As you may be aware, we're going to have a gem5 virtual town hall event on Thursday with the gem5 workshop. I'm super excited for the opportunity to bring the community together and hear feedback!

I have a few ideas, but depending on what the community wants to discuss, that's where we'll go. The goal of this town hall is to refine our roadmap and make sure that the community is moving in a similar direction. Here's my plan so far: 1. gem5-20+ The current state and the future of the gem5 simulator community infrastructure 2. Major pain points of gem5 today Quick aside... I want to point out that the gem5 community takes this seriously. 5 years ago, I gave a talk titled "Little Shop of gem5 Horrors." Almost all of the solutions proposed there have been adopted. 3. Features / models that are missing or don't have enough fidelity I'd love to hear other suggestions! Please reply to this email if you have ideas for other discussion topics.
