Hi Andreas thanks for quick reply, I dont have root access, so i installed the protobuf locally and added the path to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. But this error doesnt goes. i also defined protobuf_inline_header in it by my self gave it a value 0 but then the gem5 binary generated gives error.
