Personally I rip at windows media lossless. Disk space is readily
available, and I expect the bandwidth for streaming to continue to
increase over time.

Subject: [General-discussion] Using PAL to push song type

here is my situation. My station plays dj mixes ( about 60 minutes long
each) all day long.
I want to play the single songs (not mixes) in between every 3 mixes on the
station.
I know i can use this PAL below but i also want to have the tracks show up
in the PLAYING.php page
Playing.php will only show items with SONG TYPE (S)

Read this pal

PAL.Loop := True;
PAL.WaitForPlayCount(3);
CAT['Station IDs (All)'].QueueTop(smRandom, NoRules);

as you can see its set to pull an item with SONGTYPE (S)
but if i list the single songs with (S) and the mixes with (S) then there is
no differenciating what SAM will pull up.

I wanted to list the songs as TYPE ( P ) or something else but if i dont
list them as (S) they will not be listed on PLAYING.php
nor will you be able to find them when searching on PLAYIST.php

What can i do here to have SAM specifically pull songs from a specific
folder (folder in SAM PLAYLIST WINDOW *** NOT just a folder location on my
computer)

would i need to change the code on PLAYLST.PHP ?
