Sorry...

And the latency... well I've had it since ver 2.0 I just mute the sound
while talking and when I'd one unmute it all. I've tried various cards,
SB lives, onboards, and professional audio cards... never got rid of it.
So I just dealt with it that way.

As far as the settings.. I'll have to look on the laptop...

Subject: [General-discussion] Mic line in setup?

can someone give me an average settings for using the MIC/LINE IN ?

when i goto my Queue list i click the dropdown next to the ( + ) button
and i select MIC/LINE IN

but then i see a number of other choices

i do NOT want any buffering or latency to take place.
I have my mic come into the computer not before it goes through a TON of

other processors and equipment because its starting from my DJ equipment

setup

Any processing for the mic sound is done BEFORE it gets to the compute.
So i dont need any processing to take place.

I think i keep setting it wrong because im getting plenty of echo or
just
VERY late responce from the sound coming into the mic input.

I speak and wait as much as 7 seconds before i hear myself.
Then when its finally playing the MIC sound, its plenty distorted

i tried looking at other threads about this and testing with those
suggestions but ot no avail

For RECORD DRIVER & RECORD SOUDCARD DEVICE
i know what to set but
the dropdown below that? what should i choose? im pluged into a MIC
input.

Also i keep seting the BUFFER settings WAY down to as little as they
BOTH
will go ( Packets + Packet Time ) i place all the way to the left

Duraction i leave turned off because i want to manially stop it
