Well I'v been using this hardware for a couple of years. Also, when I exit
SAM and re-start the problem disappears. It will run for 2-3 days usually
before the error re-appears.

SAm isn not liking your hardware configuration.  one of the following has
happened.
1.  Core file is corrupt
2.  A virus scanner or third party program has modified yoru SAM install.
Make sure you are using the following release.
