Just as an idea - How about following what Maven did with their site (http://maven.apache.org/). Maven has this issue of having 2 versions that are completely different and only having one site to cater for both - a case similar to Axis and Axis2. Basically we give prominence to Axis2 and list the rest (rampart, axis1 etc) under Axis projects.
