I also run blackbox as my main window manager -- used to
run IceWM, which is also nice, but bb is even lighter.

(the one thing I dont like is that, apparently, the
author disparages the whole concept of iconify.  Iconified
apps vanish without a trace from the face of the desktop...
at least until you look under a sub-menu of the middle-mouse-
button "workspaces" menu)

I hadnt heard of bbkeys, until your original message, so I
downloaded it and tried it.   It seems to work okay.

The author ditched the graphical configurator for the thing,
according to the bbkeys web page.

I might keep this one -- nice to have terminals popping up
with just a vulcan-neck-pinch.
