Well, I'd agree if it took two less steps to get an iconified app back on the desktop. :) The point here seems to be that BB's author seems to prefer the concept of windowshading to iconifying. At least BB doesnt do animated windowshading -- the couple of occasions I've tried Afterstep and WM, that drove me batty. Well, BB does feel kind of rough coming from another, more full featured window manager. I'd been using IceWM before, but was compelled to change after IceWM's maintainers put out a few bad, buggy releases. The main thing I dont like about IceWM (besides the Windows look-n-feel) is that most of it's controls get in the way (always on top taskbar, cant move title bars above the top of the screen, cant fully maximize). But IceWM does have a friendly feel. Every window manager has its quirks. I guess the only one I've been completely happy with was FVWM 2.x. Of course that looks a little dowdy now. -- Mark Orr [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================ BRLUG - The Baton Rouge Linux User Group Visit http://www.brlug.net for more information.
