Ever seen Twin? http://linuz.sns.it/~max/twin/ It's like the old Borland Turbo Pascal environment as a desktop under the linux console, or in a window under X11. Multiple Twin-terms on the linux console... screenshot: http://linuz.sns.it/~max/twin/twin-screenshot.gif I've had this installed for a little while -- earlier versions had some annoying bugs, but the development versions work pretty well now. (my main use of it is running "make menuconfig" within X11. Menuconfig is color (yes, you can turn that off), but when it's run in rxvt, or derivatives, or xterm, the colors are way too loud. In a Twin-term, the colors are darker and more accurate to a PC ansi-desktop-console thingy) -- Mark Orr [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================ BRLUG - The Baton Rouge Linux User Group Visit http://www.brlug.net for more information.
