Cringely make some good points in the "Why does M$ want to change
the playing field" debate ... most companies in their position must, if
they are to survive, be thinking about what they are going to be selling
in 5 and 10 years down the road. Sure XP-Pro and XP-Server look like
good bets for the next year or so (for the Micro$oft share price anyway)
but what's going to replace them ... .NET? ...probably not...
