Might be a good idea to save word processing files to the hard drive,
then copy to floppy outside the program as desired. It is important
for a program which Star Office largely emulates, that one not opern
a file on a floppy drive for processing, because the program creates
temporary files, which may be quite larger, in the same directory as
the opened file. Also, removing the floppy may leave the word
processing thinking the file will always be there, with unpleasant
consequences the next time it is opened.

While I learned this the hard way under another operating system,
I think it good practice anywhere.
