Might be a good idea to save word processing files to the hard drive, then copy to floppy outside the program as desired. It is important for a program which Star Office largely emulates, that one not opern a file on a floppy drive for processing, because the program creates temporary files, which may be quite larger, in the same directory as the opened file. Also, removing the floppy may leave the word processing thinking the file will always be there, with unpleasant consequences the next time it is opened.
While I learned this the hard way under another operating system, I think it good practice anywhere.
