Well, probably the sole reason I have started to use Linux is because I can't stand Microsoft.
If AOLTimeWarner were to buy out RedHat and create their own operating system, that'd be great. Mainly because more companies would begin to develop for Linux and because AOL users are such a potentially huge market for new operating systems. If all this means competition for the great Goliath, then I'm all for it, and I think AOL is about the only company out there with enough muscle to pull it off.
