Now that will just get you peer-to-peer, unless one of the cards is in an Internet gateway box hardwired to a land line. Now, line of sight would be good, as water (organic material like leaves) between the two antennas will screw it up. And metal, electrical fields, your mom, etc, will probably degrade the signal.
