Forgot to mention another interesting point about this =
motherboard......it does not have parallel or serial ports for mouse, =
modem or keyboard, its a usb 1.1 , usb 2.0 and firewire system so if I =
decide to buy it I will also have to purchase a usb 1.1 keyboard and =
mouse. I have never installed any flavor of Linux on a system that used =
a usb mouse and keyboard.
Thanks.

Subject: [brlug-general] Soyo SY-KT333 Dragon Ultra
I'm thinking about buying a Soyo SY-KT333 Dragon Ultra motherboard =
and a AMD
1900+ XP and 512 MB of DDR333 or PC2700 ram.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what my chances of having a smooth =
Linux
installation will be with all the built-in features of this =
motherboard such
as built-in networking, sound, usb 2.0, etc. I don't want to even =
buy it if
I can only use it for Windows. I am currently using Mandrake and =
Redhat at
home but want to try Suse as well.
Thanks in advance for any insight you are able to off
