I've had no trouble getting it to boot. Grub seems to handle dual booting quite well.
Reinstalled with all the options and still have plenty of room. There is still one module missing, block-major-30. Anyone know where it can be found on the Web? Have a classic SoundBlaster16 card, which is listed in the hardware listings as supported. The RH install does identify my video card and monitor correctly, and they work at true color 1024x768. Modifed fstab as before to let users mount CD and floppies -- the only likely user is me, and I would prefer to fool with the CD as a regular user, rather than root. Installed both Gnome and KDE but boot to the command line. Set KDE as default GUI, since the KDE utilities seemed easier for me. Downloaded blackbox and another GUI and may experiment with installing them. Then I plan to fool with cdrom and alternatives. Have copied the boot logs to floppy to bring to the part of the machine that can print. Will see if the Win printer driver will work under the CodeWeavers version of Wine, which would let me print directly. Will set up the dial-up internet again and see what the RH site wants me to download as patches.....
