Jason:
As Ray said, spoofing is one way either as a switch or a
computer. Hacking the switch is another way. No technology is
secure. Most security issues invlove the wetware and not the
hardware anyway. It is the loose nut behind the keyboard that causes
most of the problems.
What OS are you on, and what OS is on the machine you are trying
to connect to?
