Does the BRLUG have a copy of Libranet that's able to be copied
freely? I just assumed that if one was required to purchase software
that usually means that making copies was off limits.
Regardless I would like to get a copy. I would like to check it out.
I've been using RH 7.3 on my workstation at work for several months now.
I get my work done and things seem to work very well. The uptime
has been a lot better than my Win2K workstation used to do.

At home i've installed MDK9 and RH8 along with my Win2k pro install.
I seem to boot into MDK9 more than RH8. I still haven't committed one
or the other yet. I like to have the options!!!

I wish I would have thought about leaving a FAT32 partition on the
drive. That would be cool to be able to share both ways. I can only
read from the 2K part now.

I thought that I would try some of the other more popular
distros and OS versions. I would at least like to have a little background
different versions.

When I get my new motherboard I bought off ebay I'm going to setup a
FreeBSD firewall. Should be an interesting project.

We scratched our Debian install today in favor of trying SUSE8.1. SUSE looks
very nice. They put a lot of work into the GUI. I'm not sure about
it's stability but I think SUSE is well thought out.
We'll try the Debian again one day. I have the cds burnt now so maybe the
ftp install we did is where we got the gdm error.

i'll stop rambling now...
later
