Hi Neal,

        As far as I know it's going to be difficult to do this under 9x
although they might have put the code in the ME version - take a look at
the Network widget in the Control Panel and see what sort of Advance
Options are available for TCP/IP.  You may be able to do what you want
with one of the personal firewall packages - however both these
solutions are easy for the user to defeat if they choose.  Basically 9x
doesn't have any security and while ME does have security it doen't
really work.

        Note that you can "lock-down" a lot of options in both 9x and ME from
the registry by setting some default profiles - including removing
access to any control panel widgets... look at the 9x resource kit for
details.
