A friend gave me their old PC for my daughter to take to college. It is a Gateway G6-400. It has a 9 gig drive, and 128 MB of ram. I have ordered a replacement floppy drive for it. I do not have the original CD(s), although I am trying to contact the friend to see if they still have them, or it.
I loaded Mandrake 8.2, but Nautilus and Konqueror keep locking up. I had to power off once just to get out of the terminal window.
