Hi Doug, it's good to see that you're trying to prevent your daughter from
viewing sensitive material. I have a good bit of experience in the realm of
web filtering. I've used two different solutions to accomplish my needs, both
involving blacklisting techniques.

The first one I tried and was very satisfied with after I finally got it
working properly was Squid, http://www.squid-cache.org/ , with Squidguard,
http://www.squidguard.org/ . You can filter in any way you want to with this
technique, even block all access except for X. Squid is also a caching proxy
as I'm sure you know, so it will speed your network's web browsing.
The second configuration that I used and was somewhat unsatisfied with was
using junkbuster with and without Squid. The blacklist was buggy and didn't
work half of the time. Junkbuster is very good for cookie filtering though.

Good luck, email me if you need any tips on configuring squid/squidguard.
