Here at UOP, Computer Science students have available to them nearly
every microsoft software package commercially available with the
exception of MS Office for "free"...the only fees we have on them are
imposed by the department for burning us a copy of the media and a
license agreement (so bascially its $3 per program + $1 for each
additional CD). We can't get MS Office though. MS gives a lot of
educational institutions special discounts and rates for their students.

Several years ago, a friend of mine ogt me the Lotus 97 Suite for $5
from LSU.

Is the license only for educational use? Do you lose the license once
you
graduate?
