I'm using an adaptec ATA2400a IDE raid 5 controller with linux 6.2...
(don't know if you're partial to scsi drives or not, IDE is just a cheaper
replacement)
Other than it being a little particular about the bios on the motherboard,
it went in sweet and simple....

None the less, adaptec is the controller of choice...
and they support linux....
