[brlug-general] Walmart computers

Hi All,
Has anyone in the group purchased one of the cheapy computers from 
Wal-marts website....the pc's with the VIA cpu in them.
I am thinking about buying one to goof around with but I am wondering is 
the standard linux distributions automatically detect the cpu or if 
something special has to be done after installation to take into account 
that it does not use an Intel or AMD processor.
