the problem is there is no AGP slot. its a
integrated vga card. the worst hardware decision i
ever made. Well i did check for compatibility and most
of the distributions said they supported trident
blade3d(i really should have searched for problems in
support group postings first).
In any case thanks for the offer man.
Well my main utility of the system is for a windows
replacement and basically learn more linux. But for
now i am running apache so that i could run some perl
scripts for one of my course projects. I do have a
dell inspiron running mandrake. but the damn thing
gets heated up soon and i don't have warrenty on it
anymore. so that's the basic reason why I bought the
no-name system. I know for a few more hundred bucks i
could have bought a good system.
