Looks like ZDNet ignorance and FUD to me.  It takes SCO's unsubstantiated 
charges as facts, magnifies the loss and tries to stir up worry about any Linux 
Distro not being "legitimate".  The words, "Project Monterey" don't leave me 
any more informed than "giant lollipop" or "system V IP".  Are people really 
taking this BS seriously?  Are the suits backing away from free software, or is 
this just part of a well orchestrated FUD campaign to create the illusion that 
free software is immoral or risky?  Caldera has yet to offer anything 
substantial and encumbered code is easy to replace if they do find any.  All 
that's come out of Caldera so far has been inflammatory nonsense.  I suppose 
that and a project name are good enough for this Looney ZDNet dude to scratch 
up an article.
