Indeed it does, and it did not take long to change it.  

That is the least of my concerns.   I will never be able to send mail to people 
Cox decides to blacklist and I'll never know.  Also, when Cox has an email 
server problem so will I.  Encrypting my email transmision will be pointless, 
too.  Before, I could send to anyone, with encryption if available, and only a 
downed cable would get in the way.  These changes no good, Kimosabe.

Good.   Did you try to do it before changing postfix?  I was surprised when 
balsa did not send directly as I expected and I'm not sure why it acted this 
way.  My email client still uses the localhost, but the local host uses Cox.  
This might be a Balsa thing.

Hmmm, I'll have to look harder at my headers, but I suspect the sending machine 
will mark it's address as 192.168.x.x, which would be no authentication at all. 
 What are they matching?  The phone tech thought the correct user name was 
important.
