Quite a reply! You made me think about a couple of things I hadn't thought about before. However, I was not suggesting that Open Source companies go public... Instead I was suggesting that many of the "financial types" that really do not know anything about Linux (or perhaps even heard of it) will be "looking into it". That, in my opinion, is probably a good thing. If the non tech, highly financed people start hearing about linux, then it can't be a bad thing. Perhaps I should not have used IPO in my statement.
