Depends on what you want to do with it. My P133 with 21MB ram takes all of 1.5 minutes to load an empty kword doc and I'm cheating with a nice old scsi. It does just fine with oggs. A little more ram and speed goes a long way. I used to run red hat 6 on 150 and 180 MHz media gx with 64MB ram. Small FORTRAN programs ran with reasonable sized problems. The GUI was slow but livable and I could browse with them. My laptop, a P90 with 24MB RAM and a 5G disk does not browse well at all outside of lynx or links, nor can it play oggs well unless you kill everything else. It's good for balsa email, text editing, photo display with gqview and getting photos from CF via pcmcia. It also runs proftp and boa and can be used to transfer files by ethernet or 802.11b.
