Thanks for the links.. looks like css is the way to go. It doesnt
matter where I use the border att, I would still need the bordercolor
one (using tables).

Time to learn CSS.
Luckily, James is helping out[thanks james]

Subject: [brlug-general] Java
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Did you make a link to the java plugin like it is described in
http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/javalinux.html?

Also, take a look at the application/x-java-vm MIME in your browser type to
see how that is being handled.

John,

Thank you for your response. The following web page shows what I've
done so far:
http://home.bredband.no/gaulyk/java/tutorial/javaredhat.html

If I do java -version command I get the following response from the
system:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] matt]# java -version
java version "1.4.1_05"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_05-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1_05-b01, mixed mode)

Java is at least partially working.. the page I'm trying to view gives
the following error message:

"This page contains information of a type (application/x-java-vm) that
can only be viewed with the appropriate Plug-in. Click OK to download
the Plugin."

When you click OK it takes you to:
http://wp.netscape.com/plugins/jvm.html

After I install that plugin...still nothing happens. It just keeps
telling me to download the plugin.

Thanks,

Matthew
