That's interesting. If memory serves you can do addition and subtraction 
using an FSM. Was that the actual implementation? What about multiplication 
and division though? Well, you could do multiplication using multiple 
additions. Division?

Interesting to see how difficult things could be back then. (Things are 
better now, right?)
