Solaris is a big pain in the butt for changing IPs. The simplist way is
to run sysunconfig, and reboot. On the way back up the system will ask
for host name, domain name, IP, etc. At least that was the way to do it
for Solaris 8 but I'm pretty sure it applies to 5.6. If sysunconfig or
sys-unconfig (I can't remember which off the top of my head) is there it
should work.
