Well... This is the first weekend in about six weeks that the gulf has been calm enough and the weather warm enough for me to want to go fishing. They are calling for 1-2 foot seas Saturday and 2-4 on Sunday out of Grand Isle.
So, I will probably end up out at the rigs this weekend. Which raises the question, anyone else on here into salt water fishing? From time to time I have friends cancel out on me and I end up looking for someone to go with. I can really only comfortably fish two people in the boat that I am currently running. It is an old boat but is reliable as hell, and I have pretty much all the necessary gear, so you would just have to bring yourself. Anyone interested on those weekends when I am looking for someone to go? Depending on whether or not my friend can make it this weekend I might be looking for someone to go.
